Import Facebook Pixel Container

Download the Facebook Pixel Container for the Google Tag Manager.

Open your Google Tag Manager container

Open your container and click on "Administration"

Click on "Import container" in the Container column

Click on "Select container file" and select the file with the extension .json

Select "Default Workspace" or your own workspace. Click on "Merge" and "Conflicting tags,... Rename". Then click on the "Add to workspace" button

If you click “Overwrite”, all your other tags will be removed.
If you want to keep the existing tags, click “Merge”.

Now you just need to enter your Facebook Pixel ID. You can find this in your Meta account. Log in to the Meta Business Suite.

Open your Business Suite and copy the Facebook Pixel ID

Now switch back to the Tag Manager and open the Variables area.

In the Tag Manager overview, click on "Variables" and then on the variable "04-Meta Pixel ID"

Now all that remains is to publish the container so that it can be displayed to users on the website.
