Shopware 6 Plugin - For the Pinterest Ads Pixel

Set up Pinterest Pixel Tracking for Shopware 6 within a few minutes. Download the plugin from the Shopware Store and start with the quick setup. The plugin uses the Google Tag Manager and contains the DataLayer for the following tracking pixels:

  • Google Ads
  • Google Analytics 4
  • Microsoft Ads UET Tag
  • Facebook Pixel (Meta Pixel)
  • Pinterest Pixel
  • TikTok Pixel

Import Pinterest Pixel Container

Download the Pinterest Pixel Container for the Google Tag Manager.

Open your Google Tag Manager container

Open your container and click on "Administration"

Click on "Import container" in the Container column

Click on "Select container file" and select the file with the extension .json

Select "Default Workspace" or your own workspace. Click on "Merge" and "Conflicting tags,... Rename". Then click on the "Add to workspace" button

If you click “Overwrite”, all your other tags will be removed.
If you want to keep the existing tags, click “Merge”.

Pinterest Pixel ID

Now all you have to do is enter your Pinterest Pixel ID. You can find these in your Pinterest account. Log in to the Pinterst Business Hub.

Open the Pinterest Business Hub and copy the Pinterest Tag ID.

Now switch back to the Tag Manager and open the Variables area.

In the Tag Manager overview, click on "Variables" and then on the variable "05-Pinterest Tag ID"

Insert your Pinterest Tag ID and click on save

Now all that remains is to publish the container so that it can be displayed to users on the website.
